Are you passionate about sailing and eager to share your knowledge with the next generation of sailors? Collingwood Sailing Academy is currently seeking experienced sailors to join our dynamic team for the upcoming summer season.
We are on the lookout for individuals who are not just skilled in sailing but also have a talent for teaching and planning engaging sailing activities. Our goal is to provide an educational yet exciting sailing experience for our students, and for that, we need the best instructors on board.
Key Requirements:
Certification: A minimum of an Ontario Sailing Community Instructor certification is required. This ensures that our instructors have the necessary skills and qualifications to provide high-quality training.
Experience: We value both your sailing expertise and your ability to teach it. Previous experience in instructing or coaching sailing is highly desirable.
Enthusiasm for Sailing: Your passion for sailing will be the driving force that inspires our students. We are looking for individuals who are not only knowledgeable but also enthusiastic about this sport.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Planning and Teaching: You will be responsible for planning and conducting sailing lessons for various age groups and skill levels. This includes both theoretical and practical training.
Safety First: Ensuring the safety of all participants during sailing sessions is paramount.
Team Collaboration: Working collaboratively with other staff members to create a positive and effective learning environment.
Feedback and Improvement: Continuously assessing and adapting teaching methods to meet the needs of students and enhance their learning experience.
